Well, I’m relieved to say that I am pretty much done shooting for 2008. There are a few more portrait sessions in the next two weeks before my in-laws arrive, and I am only accepting 2008 print orders through November 15.

As a wedding photographer I not only work from home all week, but miss out on social activities every weekend because I am working when others are out playing! I’ve been planning for half a year to make sure December will be completely free from business… Last year I was trying to remotely access files and order from Hawaii (!!), and let me tell you vacation is not fun when you have stressed out people with last minute requests. That’s is why I have been prepping everyone (including Christmas card sessions) to be prepared with their scheduling and ready to make orders in November.

I am pleased to announce that thanks to my office manager Jessica, all galleries from wedding, boudoir or portrait sessions I shot in 2008 are now back online for two days only, though the end of this weekend. If you’re waiting to see your photos from a recent shoot that hasn’t been published yet, expect to see your gallery in the next five days or so.

Additionally, I have a sweet little coupon to save you some money if you decide to place an order to get in on prints in 2008. Terms and conditions for coupon use and gallery re-opening promotion:

• minimum order (for coupon use) is $50
• coupon code is good for purchases completed on two days only: November 8 and November 9, 2008
• previously-expired galleries will only be open through this weekend
• if your gallery is new and still has an “early order discount” this will override the coupon code
