Kristi + Alex

This afternoon I shot at the wedding of Kristi and Alex at The Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Boston, MA. The service was officiated by a Cardinal! And it was fun to hang out with Nikki and Nick again, a couple in the bridal party whose wedding I photographed last year at Boston University’s Marsh Chapel. I actually had this weird brain thing where I walked into the church and started talking to Nick as if he were Alex (the groom). It was kind of funny and awkward, all at the same time.
I love this image from their church exit – how film-y and old hollywood it looks when I pushed my digital exposure a bit. This image gives me the urge to print it large and hang it on a wall!
Photos from the wedding should be available in about three weeks, so stay tuned! There are some beautiful church shots, fun public gardens group shots, and even the highly anticipated chicken dance rendition from the Portugese and German families. And don’t forget little Izabel the adorable – the flower girl who would not smile until reunited with her equally charming older brother.
