If I could only choose one photo…

If I could only choose one photo to show you how Erik really feels about Robin, I think I would choose this one from their first dance together after the rained-out ceremony. You can see very clearly that they simply adore one another. There’s no one else in the room at that instant. They’re not acting for a crowd.

It’s this kind of deliciousness that makes my job really really worth the drama. It’s a glimpse of realness among this huge institution. It’s being able to share this with them so they can remember when things aren’t as seemingly blissful.

I had two weddings on the weekend of June 21/22. The Saturday wedding was a large, Catholic church wedding, and Robin and Erik chose a farm [ the Harrington Farm in Princeton MA ] out in the middle of nowhere for their intimate ceremony and reception. Both were lovely, in very different ways.
