2009 portrait session pricing

Date June 14, 2009

I have finally settled on session pricing for 2009. I decided to lower the session fee for my lifestyle portrait sessions, but bump up prices on prints. Check out the info over here [link]. Lots of hot mamas, cute kids, and families in all their quirkiness. Send your friends over there!

I really love the pictures that you have taken of our family.
They are some of my most prized possessions.

seeking: Hipster Family as Muse… Lowell MA

Date December 20, 2008

So, some of you know that in the next few months I am debuting my official child and family portrait business based out of my new studio location in Lowell, Massachusetts. Watch this blog for casting call opportunities for specific timeslots I will want to photograph your child… and for the unveiling of the still-TBD name and separate blog for this business.

In the meantime I am putting out the holler to hipster families specifically located in our new hometown of Lowell, MA. I’m looking for a muse! Here’s the kind of collaboration I am looking for… check out this amazing video/photo montage by one of my photographer crushes, Austin-based Sarah Q.

So, for those of you who know people who know people… send them this way! rachel@mergeweddings.com

Emma + Noah

Date December 20, 2008

I had a fun and funny time in Honolulu with my new buddies Emma and Noah. We did a casual photo session to help build up their comp cards, and also did a few family shots. Check these out!
