bridal portraits: WGBH

July 19, 2009

I had the opportunity to scout out the area near the Commander’s Mansion in Watertown a few days early to find some locations for our bridal portraits. Eileen and Wouter not only had a Friday wedding, but their ceremony was at 11:00am (Park Street Church, Boston). After thanking their guests at the end of the reception, we went off and took an extra hour to do photos… and spent most of our time at WGBH’s colorful façade!

The other location I have been wanting to shoot for awhile now is the Harvard Stadium, which looks like a Roman Coliseum. You can’t see those photos yet, but I will share an outtake that makes my husband look like a teeny tiny eccentric photo bomber

Many blessings upon Wouter and Eileen!! We’re looking forward to catching up when you’re back from Aruba!

Thanks also to my husband Ali for assisting even though he was also an honored guest… and to Ashley for helping me scout out the locations.
The last image at ‘gbh above is actually a tribute of sorts to my precious Anne Ruthmann, another Lowell local, who caused quite a stir over at offbeat bride when a photo of hers caused a lot of dramatic impassioned discussion about submissive poses.

Dude, the Ruthman style pic is HOT. Looks like a Vogue photo. Hehe, and I like the photobomber.
